Arthur F. Blinci founded Azure Hills Risk Management Consulting in 2015 to serve faith-based and nonprofit organizations in meeting the challenge of pro-active risk management and workplace safety to achieve mission driven results. Arthur brings over 38 years experience in risk management and insurance specializing in the needs of faith-based and nonprofit organizations. He served twenty-two years as Vice-president - Chief Risk Management Officer for Adventist Risk Management, Inc. headquartered in Silver Spring, Maryland. He also served as the assistant treasurer and risk manager for the Michigan Conference of Seventh-day Adventists in Lansing, Michigan. He developed and implemented the child abuse awareness and prevention program for the North American Division of Seventh-day Adventists in 2011. In the nonprofit field he served ten years on the board of directors and is a past president of the Nonprofit Risk Management Center in the Washington D.C. Blinci developed and taught the risk management course for the Adventist Community Services Nonprofit Leadership Certification program for fourteen years.
Arthur earned his Masters of Business Administration degree from the Ken Blanchard Executive MBA program at Grand Canyon University in 2009 and a Bachelor of Science degree in business management from Andrews University in 1977. He earned the Associate in Risk Management (ARM) professional designation from the Insurance Institute of America in 1988. Arthur is a licensed Life & Health insurance agent and Property/Casualty insurance broker in the State of California.
A gifted speaker and trainer, Arthur has presented keynote addresses, risk management seminars and planned leadership conferences for audiences in North America, South America, Europe, Africa, Australia and Asia. He's published numerous articles on risk management in safety newsletters, magazines and academic journals.
Arthur believes risk management is "active stewardship" in helping organizations achieve their mission through the protection of people, physical assets, financial resources and organizational goodwill from loss or injury.
